I created a back up chat room
Due to the continued ineptitude at Gabbly, I have created a back up chat room. I'm the administrator of the room and I've made it available to all here. No registration needed or anything. You can even pick what color you want to be. I still hope for a better back up chat, like the flash chat I suggested but for now I hope this will be okay.

This back up chat room is actually much better than I thought. It would be a good one to perform teases in. It has features in it that allows for an automatic random coin flip and also a random roll of a dice between one and six! I didn't know about those features when I created it but I think it would sure come in handy! There's also a place to turn on the sound alerts which people were complaining about last time this type of room was tried.(The lack of sound). I really hope you'll consider adding a link to the site for this room. Plus you can choose your own user color which many people in gabbly have desired. Yes girls, it has pink!

Cool, it's a good alternative for now. And it might end up being the prefered location in the long run.
Ultimately, I think my plan would be to integrate something like FlashChat into the site. But this will do very well for now.
I've put a link to it up top. The tooltip/title if you hold the mouse over it will reveal the password.

Thank you Reynard! I wasn't too sure if you'd like my idea or not. Overall, when it's working, I still like Gabbly better but this one certainly has it's advantages too. I hope it will at least get used every now and then by the users here though. If the Chatzy chat room goes ten consecutive days without usage, it automatically disappears. Easy enough to get another one going, but I'll try to make sure it doesn't happen. It almost seems like the room was made for us with the dice roll and coin flip features. I already used it yesterday. Did an auto- coin flip (or maybe it was a dice roll, I can't remember) and it came up positive and Coday got an orgasm from it. I'm glad there's at least an alternative now just in case, (when) Gabbly goes down again.

Since this is the hot post at the moment, I will make a quick comment here. I have submitted my story Friday afternoon called "The Challenge Part 2". For whatever reason, it never entered into the que so I emailed it to Reynard. I hope it gets put up soon so everybody can enjoy it.
re: chatroom, perhaps everybody should use the new one? I hate to see our group become divided, even if unintentionally.

nah, it won't divide anyone. Sometimes the group in Gabbly gets to big that people are talking over one another anyway. Keep in mind I created it because of the regularity that gabbly is down. It is nice to have two options though and most people have enjoyed the new one I created. I'm glad to have finally contributed something positive to the site. By the way, if you use the new room and want sound, when someone chats, hit the icon that says "my preferences" and you can turn on sound that way. It won't beep when you chat but will when someone else does. And sorry, it doesn't allow for avatars. :( Maybe someday though. :)
